Sophie is Momo's partner. We made friends with them at the same time. Sophie was in a bad state as a street dog- always with fresh wounds (perhaps due to sickness or trauma) and most of the time seen under cars. Sophie was one of the dogs hunted to be impounded by the city veterinary in December 2020. I requested the volunteers in this village to not include Sophie in the impounding but she was still pursued. Luckily she escaped but with severe trauma and it took me days to get her to trust humans again.
